BOARD OF DIRECTORS

DR. ANKIT SRIVASTAVA, DIRECTOR, BREAST MILK FOUNDATION

Dr. Ankit Srivastava came up with the idea of opening a breast milk foundation in Delhi/NCR region while in conversation with his wife, Dr. Neha Srivastava and Dr. Raghuram Mallaiah discussing the growing issue of pre-mature babies and their lack of proper nutrition while fighting for a chance to survive. He is proud to be a part of such a remarkable peerless initiative and to be able to assist and aid high risk newborns with the nurturing care that formula milk lacks to offer. Dr. Srivastava, in collaboration with Fortis La Femme, hopes to facilitate high quality care to these preemies and their mothers. Breast Milk Foundation, a non-profit organisation, is an initiative under the GNS group aiming to provide better healthcare solutions to preterm babies and to their mothers, a charity with assistance of GNS Foundation.

MRS. NEHA SRIVASTAVA, DIRECTOR, BREAST MILK FOUNDATION

A woman of substance, Mrs. Neha Srivastava has proved herself in every field she has been a part of, and with her zeal to give back to the society, has always contributed to such programmes and organisations. A core member of GNS and Dantah, Mrs. Neha Srivastava, along with her husband Dr. Ankit Srivastava, has been working for the welfare of the society for years and she feels being a part of BMF is something she can relate the most with, as she herself is a mother of two. She hopes the initiative to bring to those premature babies a healthy chance to rise out of the complications that they suffer from with the pasteurised milk, BMF intends to provide non-stop replacing the formula milk solutions. She finally wishes to urge others as well, to take part in this initiative to make it a triumphant success.

DR. RAGHURAM MALLAIAH, DIRECTOR, NEONATOLOGY, FORTIS LA FEMME

As a part of the neonatology unit in various hospitals worldwide Dr. Raghuram Mallaiah is more than thrilled to be a part of this pioneering programme in Delhi/NCR for high risk newborns, as he feels it’s an issue long neglected in the nation and needs attention to overcome life-threatening illnesses, serious infections and other complications related to pre-term birth concerns. He is very certain that their collaborative initiative (BMF and Fortis La Femme) to provide pasteurised milk will prove to be the solution in saving medically fragile newborns from the risks they face otherwise from the formula milk.
